St. Peter’s is committed to transforming lives by spreading the power of God’s love and grace. Our outreach efforts start in our community, but we also bring our ministry throughout the southern New Jersey region and even worldwide. The Missions Committee meets on the first Wednesday night of each month at 6:30pm. You are invited to attend our monthly meeting where we monitor our outreach efforts and determine where funding is most needed. You may also access the Missions Gift Form to specify your donation.

English Language Learning (ELL), also known as English as a Second Language, is an English class for those new to our country.
Classes, held on Tuesday evenings from October to May, include a lead teacher with volunteers to assist students with speaking, reading, and writing.
Students are immersed in English vocabulary, conversation, dialogues, songs, games, and videos. Community connections like the food bank and clothes closet are explained. Students are invited to attend a Feliz Navidad party in December and a graduation in May. We’ve even celebrated by attending a wedding of two students who had met in ELL class!
For more information about ELL, e-mail Judy Rinck or call 609-602-8376.
Since its earliest days, music and the arts have played a very important role in the life of the congregation of St. Peter’s United Methodist Church. We believe that returning some of the beauty of the God-made world to its creator is a sincere form of worship and that listening to, and singing beautiful music, lifts the soul nearer to God. In keeping with that rich tradition and heritage of musical excellence, the music program endeavors to offer learning opportunities for all of its participants. It also makes a special contribution to the cultural life of the greater Ocean City community and, in so doing, strives to enrich the lives of those it touches and to gather into the congregation those who believe in and work to advance the message of God’s redeeming love. There is a place in our music program for anyone who wishes to learn, grow, serve and praise God in song. Come and make Great Music in a Great Space.
